DESCRIPTION:

The STIHL BGA 160 battery leaf blower is characterised by its consistently high blowing power over the entire battery charge. The handheld blower is suitable for demanding use in private environments as well as for professional cleaning work, for example in building management. The blower is very easy to manoeuvre and pleasantly quiet. This allows you to quickly and efficiently remove leaves, grass cuttings and dirt from hard and green areas, even in noise-sensitive environments.

The BGA 160 battery blower is particularly easy to swivel and move thanks to its short and compact design. The curved blower tube also provides noticeable relief for the wrist. This is particularly important for fatigue-free work.

The variably adjustable blowing force allows you to flexibly adapt the power to different cleaning situations. The integrated boost provides maximum blowing power. This means you are ideally equipped for challenging applications. For longer periods of work, the desired blowing force can be easily set at the touch of a button, which relieves the strain on the index finger and enables comfortable work.

STIHL Sound Engineering ensures that the noises made by the STIHL BGA 160 are less disruptive in the environment. Unpleasant frequencies have been significantly reduced – also a great advantage for you when working with the STIHL handheld blower.

The blower tube can be removed from the housing without tools and you can store the two parts in your workshop, garage or basement to save space. Alternatively, the BGA 160 can also be easily hung on the wall using the carrying ring at the bottom of the device.

For the STIHL BGA 160, the splash protection that has already been proven by internal testing has also been certified in accordance with the IPX4 protection class.

CONSTANT POWER

When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

VARIABLE BLOWING FORCE

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY AND CONTROL. The blowing force can be flexibly adjusted to be as effective and energy-saving as possible when cleaning different surfaces. This means that you can adapt to different working conditions at any time and carry out cleaning work in a controlled manner.

LOCKING THROTTLE

KEEP THE THROTTLE POSITION CONSTANT FOR LONGER PERIODS. You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.

COMPACT DESIGN

FOR EASY MANOEUVRABILITY. The short and compact design and the central positioning of the engine, blower and battery result in a very low moment of inertia; that means it is very easy to swivel and move the tool, and so you can work more effectively and for longer

ANGLED BLOWER PIPE

FOR STRENGTH-SAVING AND FATIGUE-FREE WORK. The angled design of the tool means that there is no rotational impact on the wrist. The blower tube and the handle are in line so that no torque is transferred to the handle. This means that, even when switching on, there is no pulse generated which must be corrected manually. So you benefit by being able to do your work with less effort and fatigue

BOOST FUNCTION

TO QUICKLY SWITCH TO MAXIMUM BLOWING FORCE. Extra pressure on the trigger switch of your STIHL blower immediately activates maximum blowing force. This happens regardless of the pre-selected power level and without having to change your grip position.

EC ENGINE

LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

CARRYING RING

FOR SAFE STORAGE. The power tool has an integrated carrying ring. This allows you to store your power tool safely and compactly.

POWER LEVELS

INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition. IPX4 CERTIFIED

SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages.
