DESCRIPTION:

STIHL’s BGA 300 backpack blower part of the professional STIHL AP battery range is the latest addition to the backpack blower range, perfect for landscapers and municipalities.

STIHL’s new Noise Reduction System makes the BGA 300 perfect for carrying out cleaning tasks in noise-sensitive areas, with significantly reduced noise emissions for residents and passers-by.

The maximum air speed delivers very high cleaning performance enabling you to quickly blow away heavy, wet leaves and clean parks, paths and roads efficiently.

You can conveniently set the blowing force for the respective cleaning task by using the control handle with LED display. The control handle offers 4 predefined power levels (Level 1 to 3 and continuous boost) providing you with optimum energy management.

Featuring a quick-adjust blower tube, the tube can be shortened or extended instantly, which is great when working in confined spaces. The blower’s compact design means you can carry out tasks with less space such as moving between parked cars.

The BGA 300 requires at least one STIHL AR 2000 L backpack battery or a STIHL AR 3000 L for full blowing power. Batteries sold separately.

IMPORTANT TOOL DATA AT A GLANCE. Useful information is clearly displayed on the easy-to-read OLED display. This includes the charge level of the installed battery, the selected blade opening width and the total number of cuts.

NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM

LESS NOISE IN THE SURROUNDINGS. The innovative technology significantly reduces the volume (sound power level) for residents and passers-by. At the same time, disruptive frequencies are minimised to create a pleasant sound pattern. Sound emissions are reduced at the high-performance turbine input in such a way that the leaf blower sounds equally quiet to nearby people on all four sides.

LOCKING THROTTLE

KEEP THE THROTTLE POSITION CONSTANT FOR LONGER PERIODS. You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.

QUICK ADJUSTMENT OF THE BLOWER TUBE LENGTH

FOR COMFORT WHEN WORKING IN TIGHT SPOTS AND CORNERS. The length of the blower tube can be adjusted on an infinitely variable basis, for example for use in narrow work areas or corners. The blower lance can be extended again just as easily. You can open and close the fastening of the blower tube by turning the ring.

ERGONOMIC CARRYING SYSTEM

VERY COMFORTABLE TO USE. This high-quality, ergonomic carrying system offers a high level of comfort as you work. Its S-shaped shoulder straps and hip belt ensure a comfortable fit, improve weight distribution, and in this way support you during long periods of use in particular.

BLOWER TUBE HOLDER

TRANSPORT MADE EASIER. The practical retainer lets you easily and securely attach the blower pipe directly to the blower so that you can effortlessly and easily transport it, without the blower pipe getting in the way.

TOOL-FREE HANDLE POSITION ADJUSTMENT

FOR ERGONOMIC WORK. Thanks to tool-free handle position adjustment, you can easily adapt the handle on the blower tube to the user’s height, enabling ergonomic, effortless work.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range.
