The STIHL FSA 90 battery brushcutter harnesses impressive power and high efficiency. It is ideal for professionals in garden and landscape maintenance. Thanks to the STIHL ECOSPEED partial load function, you can set the speed directly on the control handle. When you do not need to go at full speed you can reduce it; this reduces noise emissions, the numbers of stones or other hard objects being flung out, and also energy consumption. You can work without ear protection even at full speed, thanks to the quiet EC motor. This enables you to mow efficiently even in noise-sensitive areas such as around schools, or in hospitals or city parks.

This brushcutter is fitted with an AutoCut C 26-2 nylon head as standard. In combination with the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle), it means you are equipped to effectively tackle large green spaces. The spacer bracket helps you to protect trees and other plants from unwanted damage as you work. The double shoulder harness supplied as standard facilitates ergonomic working even over extended periods. The practical carrying ring increases storage options.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP-System have been designed for professional use and daily application, including in adverse weather conditions. With that in mind they are certified as splashproof; the effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal checks. The splashwater test meets the IPX4 standard, among others.

STIHL ECOSPEED

ADJUSTMENT OF ENGINE PERFORMANCE. With the help of STIHL ECOSPEED, you can regulate the engine speed as required and adapt your power tool’s performance to the job at hand. Where applicable, this results in lower fuel consumption and quieter operation. Additionally, this function can reduce the tendency for cuttings and stones to be flung out during mowing.

CARRYING RING

FOR SAFE STORAGE. The power tool has an integrated carrying ring. This allows you to store your power tool safely and compactly.

ERGONOMIC BIKE HANDLE

EFFORTLESS MOWING OF LARGE AREAS. The ergonomic bike handle helps you mow large areas quickly and effortlessly, as this handle supports a natural brushcutter movement. The bike handle is easy to adjust and secure.

SPACER BRACKET

PROTECTION WHEN MOWING. The spacer bracket protects both your plants and the mowing head. You can fold it up or down as needed. When mowing with a line or other plastic cutting tool, it will ensure that you are trimming precisely and not damaging plants, bark or objects, as the mowing line does not cut beyond the position of the spacer bracket.

SAFETY LOCKING LEVER

PREVENTS INADVERTENT START-UP. The safety locking lever prevents your power tool from accidentally starting up when the battery is inserted. If you want to secure your power tool, move the lever to the provided safety position on your power tool. If you want to resume work, you must unlock the power tool again using the lever.

SOFTGRIP HANDLE WITH CONTROL LEVER

FOR COMFORTABLE WORK. The softgrip handle integrates the control lever for switching on and off as well as a control lever lock, to make it easier to operate your battery brushcutter. Not only is it easy to grip, but it also absorbs some of the vibrations that arise during operation.

EC ENGINE

LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
