Whether you are working on surfaces such as asphalt and concrete, on gravel, on lawns and meadows or in flowerbeds, the excellent suction power of the STIHL SHA 140 enables you to make fast progress in your work.

Its quiet operation means that you can use the STIHL SHA 140 battery-powered vacuum shredder to carry out your cleaning work without hearing protection. Using the variable gear lever, the suction power can be steplessly adjusted and adapted to the respective requirement. For maximum suction power, the SHA 140 includes a boost function, which you can conveniently activate using the gear lever. The metal shredder blades ensure effective shredding of the vacuumed material, which is then transported directly into the 55-litre collection bag. The bag can be removed without tools for emptying, and is easily opened and closed again thanks to robust, durable metal buckles. Another advantage of the SHA 140 is the STIHL Air Flow Management feature, which offers consistently high suction power irrespective of the fill level and degree of contamination of the 55-litre collection bag. In addition, the intelligent design of the STIHL SHA 140 means the vacuum shredder can be opened without tools, for cleaning while the suction tube rests on the floor.

All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP-System have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.

AIR FLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

FOR CONSISTENTLY HIGH SUCTION POWER. In order to enable consistently high air flow, the collection bag has a special ventilation opening. Only air can escape from it – regardless of the fill level and degree of contamination of the collection bag. This is how STIHL Air Flow Management enables consistent suction power and so a consistently high level of work progress.

TO QUICKLY SWITCH TO MAXIMUM SUCTION POWER. Extra pressure on the trigger switch of your STIHL vacuum shredder immediately activates maximum suction force.

SUCTION TUBE OPENING WITH RECESSES

SIMPLE CLEANING. The recesses on the side of the suction pipe opening minimise the risk of sticking to the floor or to the vacuumed material.

ENERGY MANAGMENT

COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions. Smart Connector 2 A sold seperately.
