Good Cutting Performance

The STIHL FSA 70 R battery brushcutter from the STIHL AK System impresses with its combination of good cutting performance and low weight for domestic garden work, such as mowing medium-height grass, cutting lawn edges and clearing work. The STIHL FSA 70 R is particularly convenient thanks to the Rapid Click System. This allows you to remove the mowing head quickly and easily at the touch of a button. With Advanced EasySpool, the mowing head can be conveniently wound with a new line by hand.

2 Speed Settings

Depending on the application, the brushless EC engine can be adjusted directly on the control handle via a variable speed control with 2 speed settings. Select the lower speed, ECO mode (level 1), for example for simpler tasks such as trimming lawn edges. This will result in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery life. For more complex work, such as mowing thick grass, you can use the STIHL FSA 70 R’s full speed simply by switching to level 2 using the slide switch. The speed adjusts automatically to the cutting attachment being used and is infinitely variable. In addition, the intelligent electronics make it possible for the FSA 70 R to work at constant high, full power regardless of the charge level of the battery.

Ergonomic Handling

The compact design of the well-balanced STIHL FSA 70 R and the loop handle with soft component support you to mow flexibly and have a high degree of freedom of movement when mowing between trees and shrubs and in other confined spaces. In addition, the tool-free adjustable loop handle allows easy adjustment to your height, so that you always have an ergonomic working position.

INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
